Upper Elementary Guide
Job Description
In this role, you will guide our 9-12-year-old students through the exciting journey of upper elementary education, helping them build a strong academic foundation while fostering independence, critical thinking, and a deep connection to the natural world. The position emphasizes a collaborative, co-teaching model and includes a strong focus on outdoor learning, integrating nature-based practices into the classroom.
Qualifications
Seeking Seasoned and Montessori-trained guides (MACTE-accredited)
Passionate about CMS’ founding ethos of People Care, Fair Share, and Earth Care
Interest or experience in farming, permaculture, or similar experience is a big plus!
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Position Includes
Balanced year calendar
6x six-week sessions
Co-teaching team model
Robust/outdoor participation
Guides hours- 8:00 am and 4:00
Option to increase base pay by working during our Session break camps
Compensation
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary (commensurate with experience), Health/Dental/Vision benefits, 401k (with pre-tax or post-tax contribution), Montessori professional development, and tuition assistance for dependent children.
