Part-Time Spanish Guide

Job Description

Catskill Montessori School is seeking dynamic, engaged, and hard-working educators to join our growing community. As we embark on our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Spanish Educator to grow with us.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator eager to blend authentic Montessori instruction with outdoor education in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Experience: Previous experience teaching Spanish is required. Experience in a Montessori environment is a plus, but not required.

  • Passion: Bring your unique skill set and language passion to our student community.

  • Safety: Maintain the safety and well-being of the children at all times.

Compensation & Hours

  • Status: This is a 1099 contract position. Compensation is based on the services provided.

  • We offer competitive wages commensurate with experience.

  • Schedule: Part-time with flexible hours (Mondays and Wednesdays).

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written.

  • Experience in teaching or working with children, preferably in a Montessori setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

  • Interest or experience in permaculture or outdoor education is a plus.
