Job Description
Lower & Upper Elementary and Secondary Classrooms
We are seeking highly qualified Assistant Guides for our Lower and Upper Elementary as well as Secondary classrooms. In this role, you will support students on their educational journey, helping to cultivate a strong academic foundation while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and personal growth. The position focuses on fostering a collaborative environment through co-teaching, working closely with lead guides to engage students in dynamic, inquiry-based learning experiences. A key aspect of this role is promoting a student-centered approach that values outdoor learning, integrating nature-based practices to enrich classroom experiences. Qualifications
Seeking Seasoned and Montessori-trained guides (MACTE-accredited)
Passionate about CMS’ founding ethos of People Care, Fair Share, and Earth Care
Interest or experience in farming, permaculture, or similar experience is a big plus!
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Position Includes
Balanced year calendar
6x six-week sessions
Co-teaching team model
Robust/outdoor participation
Guides hours- 8:00 am and 4:00
Option to increase base pay by working during our Session break camps
Compensation
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary (commensurate with experience), Health/Dental/Vision benefits, 401k (with pre-tax or post-tax contribution), Montessori professional development, and tuition assistance for dependent children.
